Atlanta – June 26, 2017 – Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) announced that it has been chosen to manage the Courtyard by Marriott Sea World/Lackland in San Antonio, Texas after a complete renovation of the property. Hotel Equities now manages 20 hotels in the state of Texas which are supported by its Texas regional offices.

“We're excited to take over management for owner Ram Khatter as the Courtyard renovation and new ownership will bring new life to this well-located, beautifully updated property,” said Joe Reardon, SVP of Business Development and Marketing for HE.  “This is a solid partnership with great owners and a strong brand in a thriving market.  With robust demand generators, our operational expertise and the Courtyard flag, we are confident about delivering an excellent return for our investors.”

Located off Loop 410 in San Antonio, the hotel is conveniently located near Sea World and Lackland Airforce Base.   Other nearby attractions include Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk and the San Antonio Missions, home to premier shops and restaurants.

“I am excited to put this important asset in my portfolio with Hotel Equities. We are completely aligned in our goals and are excited to grow together,” said Ram Khatter, President of LD Hospitality LLC.  “They have an impressive presence in the state of Texas and we look forward to growing together as a team.”

The Courtyard’s newly refurbished hotel rooms feature complimentary Wi-Fi, plush bedding and coffee makers, plus an ergonomic workspace and a flat-screen TV with premium movie channels, CNN, ESPN and HBO.  The modern lobby area is home to The Bistro - Eat.
